How Ariel Pharmacy took control of stock, sales accountability, and expiry management across two branches Copy

With two locations, a large product catalogue, and staff accountability gaps, Ariel Pharmacy needed more than a till. BrandDrive gave them visibility across every branch, every product, and every sale.

Challenge

Stock was disappearing. No one could say why.

Running two pharmacy branches means managing a large, fast-moving product catalogue across two locations simultaneously, with stock moving between them, products expiring, and sales happening online and in-store at the same time. Before BrandDrive, keeping an accurate picture of all of it was nearly impossible. The deeper problem was accountability. Stock was disappearing and there was no reliable way to trace it. Without a clear record of who sold what, when, and from which branch, the losses were visible but the cause wasn't. For a pharmacy handling regulated products with expiry dates, that level of uncertainty wasn't just a financial risk, it was an operational one.

Solution

Every sale now has a name on it.

1. Ariel Pharmacy brought both branches into BrandDrive, using the Offline POS for in-store sales so transactions keep recording even when the connection drops, and accepting payments through the Moniepoint integration directly at the point of sale. Online orders run through BrandDrive alongside in-store sales, giving one unified view of what's moving across both channels. 2. The expiry date feature flags products approaching their expiry, so the team can act before stock becomes unsellable rather than after. 3. Barcode scanning speeds up checkout and stock counts, and also supports creating barcodes for products that don't already have them. 4. Stock movement tracking shows exactly what's been transferred between branches and when. Critically, BrandDrive records who made every sale. That single feature changed the accountability dynamic entirely. Staff know their sales are tracked, and management can see at a glance who sold what, across which branch, and when.

Results

Two branches running on one system, online and offline

Offline POS keeps sales recording even without internet

Moniepoint payments matched to sales

Expiry dates tracked across the full product catalogue

Barcodes scanned and created for products that need them

"The fact that I can see who sold what has changed how the team operates. People know the record is there. That alone has made a real difference to how we run the business."
